About this service
Esports Accountants provides esports and gaming accountancy for UK players, streamers, casters, coaches and organisations. Accountancy is delivered by Tidy Money Ltd, an ACCA-regulated practice, and nothing on this site is advice for your specific circumstances.
What we do
Esports income is a specialism. Prize money arrives from abroad with foreign tax already deducted, streaming pays out in several currencies across half a dozen routes, and a team salary can come from an org incorporated overseas. A high-street accountant who has never seen a tournament payout tends to either miss reliefs or play it so safe you overpay.
We handle the scene week in, week out: prize-money and cross-border winnings, Twitch and YouTube income, sponsorship and merch, going limited, and org payroll and prize splits. Tell us where you stand and we come back within 48 hours with a fixed written quote before any work starts, whether that is a one-off return and tidy-up or ongoing accounting as you grow.
How we work
Regulated
Accountancy is delivered by Tidy Money Ltd, an ACCA-regulated practice holding current professional indemnity insurance.
Real casework
We treat players, streamers and orgs as core work: prize money, cross-border winnings, streaming income and org payroll, not generic self-employment.
Current
We work on the current rules: the 2026/27 dividend rates, the £90,000 VAT threshold and the cross-border withholding and treaty position.
How our quotes work
Tell us your situation through the short form and we come back within 48 hours with a fixed written quote for the work. The price we quote is the price you pay, there are no hourly surprises, and there is no obligation to proceed. We do not sell your details or use them for anything other than preparing your quote and doing the work you ask us to.
How the guides are written
The guides library is researched and maintained by the Esports Accountants editorial team, working from primary sources: the legislation, HMRC guidance and manuals, and tribunal and court decisions. Every guide carries a last-reviewed date and is updated when the rules move, as they did substantially on 6 April 2026.
The guides are general information, not advice. Tax outcomes turn on individual facts, and the right next step for anything consequential is a conversation with a regulated professional. Get a fixed quote.
What this service does not do
We are accountants, not player agents or a talent agency. We do not negotiate contracts or sponsorship deals, and we do not handle tax tribunal advocacy or legal disputes. If your matter needs a solicitor or another specialist we will say so rather than stretch beyond what we do well.
